Many good prople did bad things. The good must be balanced against the bad.
i don’t know how much of the focus is on george washington as is the focus that is actually on confederate soldiers. it seems like a real blue v red issue. conservatives wants to keep them up to preserve history while democrats want them out because they fought against the US. im proud to live in a city (white plains) where we honor the American heroes of the revolution but also civil rights leaders like MLK.
