Only on behalf of the United States… same as the Statue of Liberty or thousands of other items at the Smithsonian that have been given “to presidents” but were passed onto the US government.

The government could. Trump, personally CANNOT.

Any gift of State must be reported to Dept of State, if it is valued at more than $50. There are processes by which an individual could be allowed to purchase a “gift”.

Example: Ronald Reagan purchased his gift of a horse from Mexico’s President Vincente Fox.

When the Constitution holds no sway for restriction or requirement over the several branches of government, it means the Republic has fallen.

What matters then?

REPLY TO MR JIM HOFFMAN

You are simply not an independent and non-lazy guy. How many times have I wrote paragraphs to you identifying sources. and how many did you actually them look up? It seems a big endeavor for letting your fingers do the googling.

Here is a supereasy source detailing Dershowitz/Epstein and why they are bad, bad people as measured by their deeds. Darryl Cooper has made a three hour three part Epstein Pedo Gang podcast featuring your favorite Netanyahu and -genocide defender in a leading role . Google the podcast and devote to the three hours. Or as usual don't. But dear Jimmy, you seem so biased yet ignorant of Dershowitz's past. That is why you are his cheerleader.

A mark of manhood is knowing the background to the person you idolize. And your idol has a long life of hurtful misdeeds which he covers up. But lots leaks out anyway. And you will enjoy the story of Sue Barlach, the serious, honest, religious Orthodoix -jewish kid. She and her sister, both with sheltered childhoods, had arranged marriages to the Dershowitz brothers, Alan and Nathan. It turned out badly for both sisters. Alan post-marriage discovered the vivaciousness of Jeanie, an Irish girl ,in the Boston office . Despite over a decade of marriage and fatherhood to two young boys, Alan cheated. Lots. But Sue knew. This caused mucho unhappiness at home.. . . and the -Napoleonic-sized Alan, as meek as Woody Allen in purely physical conflicts with men, began serial domesric violence against Sue. The worst beating happened after she had been cleaning up his desk....

Since you have not been independently motivated to find put, I have spoon-fed you like a little baby sparrow I found in the yard. Now the Hollywood ending is that you write back in a few days and thank me for changing your life from unempathic Gentile -despising mutant hard core zionism, to discovering your adherence to a core value, absent in both Likud and Dershowitz, of human equality And then writing a comment to a future Dersh podcast urgjng him to confess to pedopjilic rape (no statute of limitations) and take his punishment, and decrying the fact that the American prosecutorial system is so corrupt and further how important it is for Dersh to be tried in criminal court on the basis of at least three kids' allegations. You might even compare America unfavorably to Britain which has begun again, this time in earnest, prosecuting the Pakistani white child rape gangs. If you do this, you might feature in an Erin Brockovitch style film to be released right after Dersh's death about the rapes of 250 American children

The ultimate issue is whether a documented wife batterer, whether a generation long close associate of Jeffrey Epstein accused of serial pedophilia by at least three children, yet has escaped indictment for everything, can possess the morality, the judgement and the reverence for fact and tuth which is expected in a podcaster on substack,

As to your offer to send me on a tropical vacatiion, well Dersh has spoiled Little St. James for me. .

I agree.

If the plane is used by the department of state, that's fine.

If the plane is used by Trump himself while in office, that's fine.

If the plane is used by Trump outside of office, or taken to his library, then that would be a moral issue, but I don't think that's the case here.

I don't think the United States should reject gifts from anyone, assuming the gift is safe. If North Korea wants to send us a gift in good spirit, we'll take it, especially if it helps with relations.

Let's face it: not taking a gift when presented is extremely rude.

Qatar is also neutral state.

Sure, some terrorists live there, and some of those terrorists have funded Hamas, but that would be like not accepting a gift from Switzerland because Nazi's once owned accounst there. Qatar is like the Switzlerand of the middleeast. It's not Darth Vader.

This is not a personal gift like a gold watch or a flight to Epstein Island. America showers billions on foreigners — so nothing wrong with accepting a donation benefitting US taxpayers who already pay for presidential jets.

Frankly speaking Alan, I could give a rats keister about the plane and concur with your 'mountain out of a molehill' comment. If POTUS is following this podcast, my suggestion is the following; resell the plane, take the money to pay down the national debt as my concerns are far greater for congress and their ongoing vacillations towards balancing the budget, tax decisions and reducing the national debt! Spend less time debating 'boarding a plane' and more time getting 'on board' with all of us who voted for balancing the budget and reducing the national debt! Don't you think the time has come for you politicians to practice what you preach for ONCE???

When Dershowitz lost a hundreds of thousands of dollars on a bad investment in Transperfect stock, was it legal for him to ask Jeffrey Epstein to lean on the stockbroker and demand a refund the loss to Dershowitz?

Where is your proof Mr. Starr? Summer is just around the corner. Don't you think it's time for you to take a vacation from Dersh bashing? Take a nice trip and catch some rays and relax. I guarantee your Dersh stress levels will decrease proportionately!
