It really bothered me that Trump equated Israel's actions with Iran's..The only reason Israel has been fighting so hard, for so long, is because enemies have been trying to eliminate them...And please don't use the F word..Doing so is beneath the office..

Trump needs to project to the world that rather than Trump being Israel's "attack dog," that Israel is Trump's attack dog and that he is the boss, not Netanyahu. I think this is a ploy to justify fully eliminating the regime in Iran which of COURSE Trump wants. His and Netanyahu's plan for the New Middle East cannot go forward with that regime still in control of Iran unless the regime is even further degraded militarily and economically. And I believe Netanyahu is lockstep with Trump on this ploy. Consider this: Iran is nearly completely at the mercy of Israel/America, now. And now that there is a tenuous cease-fire, Israel/America should make some big demands. The three most important: 1. Iran must tell Hamas to release all the remaining hostages immediately and tell all their terror proxies to stand down, permanently. 2. Iran must agree to stop all terror campaigns to wipe out Israel and/or America and Iran must recognize Israel's right to exist as a sovereign country. 3. Iran must agree to stop everything regarding nuclear bomb-building AND building intercontinental ballistic missiles AND agree to have all nuke sites completely dismantled. Without Iran agreeing to those three demands, then the cease-fire will not hold because, obviously, it would mean Iran is just waiting to return to terror and rebuild the nuke sites, etc. Will Iran agree to those three demands? Very doubtful with the current regime; they'd rather die as martyrs. That will give Trump the political capital he needs to unleash his attack dog on Iran again. I have good reason to suspect another ploy: Look back on how often Trump gave the impression he was not in agreement with Israel (that first large hostage/cease-fire deal with Hamas that everyone said was selling Israel out, for one instance, and the most recent spectacular one where Trump claimed he was giving "up to another two weeks" to bring Iran back into negotiations when in fact, he was coordinating with Israel on a major attack now referred to as "The 12 Day War"). This is all going to be interesting to watch unfold.
