Dershowitz coiuld have told Trump he never need suffer legal consequence for the fun previously sought. After all, Dershowitz knows from experience. Dershowitz was accused of serial serious non-consensual interstate sexual rape, not necessarily with the generative organ, as a man around 73 years old with much younger girls, particularly children protected by statutory rape laws. Dershowitz's apparent best friend and personal client over decades, Jeffrey Epstein, had turned the kids into sex slaves with drugs and by grooming. Did Dersh whistleblow to protect the children? No. Did Dershowitz enjoy non-consensual sexual penetration? Well, according to accusatiions he could hardly stop. You think this did not merit full FBI investigation and presumable indictment.? Acosta told later of pressure resembling that subseqwuently of Mossad's against ICC prosecutors,. Acosta was finally told that the Epstein child sex ring was "an intelligence operation". Acosta gave up and asked for peace, granting Dershowitz full and secret immunity for all Epstein activities aslong with four identified Epstein co-conspirators.. That stopped the FBI investigation in its tracks. Two weeks ago FBI Director Wray refused in Senate hearings to tell Senator kennedy whether the FBI invesigastion was re-opened and if it is ongoing.
After quashing looming criminal indictments, Dershowitz applied all the tools of a defense attorney. Relexive denials never with probative details, a flurry of defamation lawsuits to obstruct 1) accusations from other girls and 2) legal representation from attorneys, a media blitz especially on talk shows alleging the underage children were "prostitutes", ordering private detectives to make intrusive investigations into the girls, and if nothing else worked to keep the accusations out of civil court, arranging for hush money payment in erxchange for an NDA.
I wish we could believe that maybe the FBI's apparent laxity is due to Dershowitz having cooperated in the investigation, giving details,naming names,telling what he knows and heard about the participants, what he heard about Clinton and Gates' activities, but given Dersh's pugnaciousness, such cooperation seems illusory.
I am glad Trump chose not to associate with Dershowitz, Let Netanyahu keep him.
