I love writing short, current, controversial books. Just sent my next one to publisher: The Case for Color Blind Equality in an Age of Identity Politics. Its a tragedy that the hard left has declared war on our most important constitutional rights: equal protection; freedom of speech ; and due process. That is why I, as a liberal Democrat, have to fight back with my latest books and opeds. I hope you read them.
I think that whir Professor Dershowitz views himself as a man of the center who even supported the terrible Oslo accords his books show that holding that position today means that he views the views of the woke left especially with respect to constitutional values and anti Semitism as far more dangerous than those of the right at this juncture in our nation’s history
Alan, I would love to hear your take on Trump's 1st Amendment lawsuit against Facebook, etc. I think that those "private" services act like public utilities, and should be treated as such. They are natural monopolies, that do not and cannot function successfully unless the great majority of users congregate on them. Do we need to await legislation that turns them into publicly regulated utilities, or is there any hope in the present arrangement for a 1st amendment action to succeed?

Just purchased “Letters to a Young Lawyer” for my son. He starts law school in the fall.
Thanks for the list.
I was just looking for some good summer reading! Thanks for the list. When did you have time to write so many books?
