The right to be left alone is a basic right.

You have the right to send them to a different camp. What about your daughters showering with girls who may be sexually attracted to them?

Better than a guy pretending to be a girl just to zoom them. You can mind f**k this all you want , any body with common sense knows. We aren’t in the court room.

There is no comparison. Men are substantially stronger and more aggressive.

You may be perhaps the greatest lawyer but you’re not a physician.

Men are much more statistically likely and able to overpower a woman and rape them than visa versa. It sickens me that the feelings and rights of men trump the civil rights of women. It is jot right for you to forbid us to have our own safe areas. Just as children do because they are smaller and more vulnerable. We are smaller and more vulnerable than men-those with a Y chromosome

There are some children taller and stronger than some adults. Some children even do sexually assault or abuse other children. We don’t suggest that is justification for putting grown men in little league.

We know that there are grown men who identify as children (It’s a real thing you can google it)

Why not allow them in the locker rooms of your grandkids?

It is not small minded to insist that biological facts are not suppressed by narratives with no scientific or moral basis that are parts of the woke assault upon traditional moral, political and cultural values

It is small minded to ignore the scientific sad moral case for people changing genders. It’s none of your business or the government’s.

What you call the scientific sad (sic) moral case” is junk science and a Marxist ( see Marcuse’s writings especially) attack on the traditional family and morality that had been extant since the dawn of mankind

Personally I am open to allow people to choose how to live their own lives as they see fit. What I am oppose is the current culture wars where the left continually seeks to force their ideology on everyone and damn you to hell if you disagree. I do not agree with this in your face approach and to have this imagery in our faces 24/7. I prefer the golden rule, to treat others as you want to be treated and leave it at that.

"What color is the sky?"

"Well, that depends."

"Of course it depends. In fact, the sky is colorless. But for us people ON EARTH, it's usually blue when there isn't smog or a cloud around...or a magnificent sunset...or at night. But I think you know what I mean."

Let's stay grounded, Alan.

I noticed you didn't take a stand on trans. medical treatment under 18

Well, Alan, I'm with you all the way. It's all true about context and I've no doubt the woman was aware of it in just the way you explained. And she will indeed have many decisions requiring just such nuanced knowledge as you describe.

I still don't like her mind-set, or her world-view. I think she has the viewpoint of a person in the thick of a complicated life, with many interactions on many levels, and with considerable success at them; but my perspective is that of an old person with a far more distant view of the world, and a far different world-view. I wish she had mine. My perspective, I mean.

Don’t we all wish everyone agreed with us!

I disagree, as a medical professional, sex is determined by genetics and presents as genitalia.

I agree with your basic premise, as to the government should not have a say in marriage between adults, abortion before viability and end of life issues.

Here, I’m following science; XX and XY are determinants.

Even the Talmud recognized nearly 200 years ago that gender could be on a continuum. Todays technology allows members of both genders to transition. The govt should stay away from such personal decisions. And so should you! It’s none of your business if someone chooses to transition.

The Talmud established clear legal distinctions with many practical applications on the basis of gender It is clear that the Rabbis of the Talmud rejected both Greco Roman hedonism which included much of not all of the LGBT Agenda and the transgender agenda and celibacy as the norms for spirituality and physical intimacy

Then why are they constantly throwing it our face and we are bad if we disagree? I would never had known if the MSM wouldn’t constantly be showing it? I don’t care what you do, don’t force me to believe it, you see me out here with flags saying STR8?

As a poorly observant Jew, I’m not a Talmudic scholar. However, I know women were held in low regard, so I take it with a grain of salt. My son’s Bar Mitzvah reading was the Exodus portion that set forth the treatment of women as slaves.

It becomes my business when teen boys are showering with my daughters at camp; beating them on the tennis court and track and when they are shut out of college athletic opportunities. Their freedoms do not include their delusion taking priority over my girls safety.

What you describe as slavery should never be confused with slavery in America or anywhere else

I applaud Professor Dershowitz. Judge Jackson is indeed correct. In fact, having an XX karyotype does not necessarily define an individual as female, nor XY necessarily a male. Natural genetic changes may cause a person's sex to be discordant from their chromosomal endowment. We need justices who embrace the complexity of biology and are up to the challenge of making difficult decisions.

This is a scientific fallacy because you are born either biologically male or female
