Prof. Dershowitz, with great respect for your outstanding career & I believe, your integrity, 3 years later I'm still trying to reconcile that with your support & affection for Joe Biden, & your voiced opinion that Merrick Garland would be a fine Atorney General. Reading your current concerns about the judiciary, I wonder why there is no mention of his trashing the concept of equal jusice & doing such harm to the country & individuals in it.

I think weaponized is the right word. In Israel the legal left has been after Netanyahu for many years. No convictions. It'll be the same for Trump.

I would say Hamilton's statement is still accurate.

The judges must get involved because the radical left wing of the democrat party is so obtuse, and so willing to abuse the legal system for their sanctimonious, neo-marxist crusade, that justices have no choice but to strike down their vicious attempts to divide and conquer.

This is a cultural problem, not a judicial problem.

There is a point wherewith the prosecution of a candidate likely to be nominated becomes election interference. It is incumbent on the incumbent’s administration to choose a date that is not in election season, ie, two years prior, or drop the case for the sake of the people. Likewise, discovery should be completed on the prosecution side to be certain there is a case that is being brought only to serve the public’s interests. It appears no ones’ interests are currently being served.

It is also a judicial problem because the judiciary have been through the academia 'progressive' sheep-dip same as all other professionals. People who are independent-minded enough to not be influenced by this are a rarity.
