Nothing more insidious than false testimony. That's why it is one of the 10 commandments, do not bear false witness. It is despicable when journalists (and lawyers) enable false testimony and actively cover it up. Perhaps we need stronger laws against this sort of thing, it just seems to be too easy for folks to get away with it.
