If Weisselberg's charges go to trial, won't it be impossible to fulfill the constitutional requirement of giving him a fair trial? No juror who is a member of the democratic party can be considered impartial and jurors who support trump will be partial to trump organization. Is it possible for Allen Weisselberg to receive a fair trial with an impartial jury?
I too am worried that government action might be "more dangerous than the disease" as you aptly put it. Trump says he supports freedom as do I, and I think his money would be better spent building a new social media platform. You don't have to build it on Amazon. I would love to help with that as I'm sure many many other skilled software engineers in the industry would. I think it's time to build a social media platform that Amazon and other big tech firms cannot de-platform and I think it's time to build one that brings people together constructively rather than tears the country apart with all kinds of identity politics.

I really think it is "tyranny by bureaucracy" when the government has a pile of rules and regulations to the moon and back and they can dig something out from that pile any time they want to come after you. This is what the old Kings of England used to do if they wanted to confiscate your land. We need to simplify the tax code to eliminate this kind of threat to freedom in this country.
