The Constitution explicitly says bribery as a grounds for impeachment. The evidence against the "Big Guy'" is accumulating rapidly thanks to patriotic whistleblowers.

Violating his sworn duty to protect the constitution by letting in millions of ILLEGAL aliens, with the aim of making whites a minority IS a high crime against the entire country. Our worse enemy couldnt destroy our country any faster. And taking bribes from a foreign country? Thats not Treason? Dersh must of been threatened by the left so he's looking for reasons to bash republicans. He should be ashamed of himself.

Should the fact that Biden abdicated his responsibility to secure the border, weaponized the DOJ, and took bribes from foreign governments be ignored because republicans didn't agree with democrats when they impeached Trump?

The chief difference is that there are real crimes in regards to Biden: bribery, money laundering, influence peddling, not securing the border, illegal hoarding of classified documents, etc. Dershowitz's statements is a desperate attempt to cover for his preferred party, the Democrats. Nothing to with the law.

I respect you immensely but Biden needs to be impeached if not jailed . He in fact has taken bribes from our enemies hthstscavfact now . As you said . "Bribery , high crimes , and treason . He more than likely sold state secrets to Chinese and Russians . This guy is as dirty as they come . We are literally on the verge of civil war . No prosecution fir Clinton both Hillary and Bill? No prosecution for Biden?

Alan may be the only true Libertarian left in America today.

The interpretation of the law and the constitution today to many “civil libertarians” is dependent on who is involved and what their political affiliations are.

Kudos Alan!

Okay. Just seems to me that former Presidents Clinton and Trump have taken the power out of impeach. Yes, they were damaged, but remained in office. Meanwhile, we the people watched these expensive circuses that took much time and attention from more critical foreign and domestic problems.

Is the problem really Biden’s immigration policies or the actual problem of America being flooded with millions of illegals with no end in sight.

I'm a big fan of Dershowitz, but Alan knows, that the actions of some politicians can be considered as traitors and enemies from with in the United States.

Is it true (as some Californians have said) that Willie Brown... ahem... clear throat... helped launch her career - somehow??

She wasn’t accomplished on her merits - at least on her legal ones.

Biden is corrupt and incompetent; Harris is, as far as I am aware, merely incompetent.

I agree that impeaching V.P. Harris for “incompetence” is silly, but I disagree with the 5 comments posted re President Biden’s corruption. The bank alerts about possible money laundering look damning, but nothing has been proven yet, if ever. The FBI seems to be sitting on what they admit is an “ongoing” investigation. I hope there are a few good journalists investigating too.

So what constitutes treason and “high crimes”? Letting a spy balloon coast over our country? The “horror show” of our Afghanistan withdrawal? It does seem beyond the pale to target your leading opponent for the presidency.

Professor Dershowitz, I liked your joke about the defendant who didn’t turn around. (: Didn’t his attorney prep him? Speaking of which, is it really impossible for our former president to retain an excellent attorney?

Congress can impeach and convict merely by what they believe to be true. Its not a court of law.

However, having said that, I'd rather BIden stay and run against Trump. Its a slam dunk.

I’m guessing you mean a slam dunk against President Biden? Maybe you’re right, but I think the opposite. I’d prefer Governor DeSantis as the Republican opponent as he is younger, and has broader appeal for Independents in my opinion. I would also vote for RFK. Jr. before voting for the charming, articulate Governor Newsom, or the equally charming, articulate Mrs. Obama.
