Let there be no mistake about it: this protest will be seen by Israel’s enemies — and there are plenty of them at the UN — as an attack against Israel by American Jews.
The role of the U.N., as it exists today, is quite bizarre. There are some who would love to see the U.N. take power away from nation states, and that is probably the biggest threat to Israel. It was designed for peaceful purposes, and as a forum for cooperation, but that is not the role it plays today. Today, it tries to siphon power away from individuals, and place that power into the hands of apparatchiks.
Alan, this issue is more complicated than what you posted . All I can say is that the Rabbis are on the wrong train and in the wrong track. It's a big mistake on their part to conduct this in front of the UN. By the way the UN is an old shoe that's no longer needed and doing more harm than good. also this is going to ignite some bad signals to the wrong people . !!! Big mistake !!!
"The decision about judicial reform will and should be made by Israeli citizens"...100% correct!

It would be alright with me if the U.N. Was disbanded.
