This is a superb analysis as to why Biden's weaponized DOJ went after Menendez a second time-he is too moderate , a strong friend of Israel and a strongly against the Iran deal

Prof. D doesn't say that, and it can't be deduced from anything he does say.

A more likely ulterior motive, it seems to me, is to allay reasonable suspicion that the Trump prosecution is politically motivated, and given the reaction noted by Prof. D it seems to have accomplished that, at least in the minds of many Democrats.

Also , Biden is not running the country, is Obama behind the scenes . That is the reason why Obama stayed in Washington DC and Biden installed Obama's cabinet.

Allan, basically we do not have true justice in the United States . We live in a nation that those who hold power and influence can do what ever they want. The constitution is dead no one in Jurisprudence (with exception of you) repeats it. I remember when George W Bush as president at that time , he said "the constitution is just a piece of paper" . Imagine the president of the United States making such a statement. We no longer live in the USA you and I grew up win, it's a communistic nation now. Welcome to reality.

Hunter says on the " laptop from hell", that JBWare is a very vindictive guy and holds grudges indefinitely. Menendez would not play.ball, so the Injustice Department nailed him. As the author of "Get Trump". you get it. This is just Communisum 101.

Mr. Dershowitz, thank you so much for being the voice of reason in this matter. I agree with you completely, but in this society, where everyone overvalues their own opinion, reason is not in charge. I hope this article will be widely read. We need to remember that the presumption of innocence is still foremost in our system of justice. Or whatever remains of our system of justice.

I’ve always wondered why newspapers were permitted to publish “arrest reports” with names, dates and charges prior to indictment and, more importantly, to conviction. Not to mention if the arrestee has the charges dropped or dismissed or is found not guilty.
