To paraphrase what an Israeli leader said many years ago, if Hamas were to lay down its arms and end its terrorism, there would be peace. If Israel were to lay down its arms, there would be genocide. Some American legislators have called on Israel to engage in a ceasefire or pause in its efforts to destroy Hamas. Part of their argument is that failure to do so will just turn Hamas civilians into terrorists. The implication is that if Israel pauses, the citizens of Gaza will suddenly have more positive views of Israel.

However, I find my self at a loss as to why the Biden Admin (& formerly the Obama admin) is going out of their way to ease Iranian oil export sanctions and then allowing Iran to fund Hamas???? Did you know that Iranian Oil Exports have grown my five fold since 2020? Has the Biden Admin called for ANY kind of a cease fire in the Ukraine war with Russia? ABSOLUTLEY NOT! Terrorists must be destroyed wherever they emerge. All nations can make judgments about what Israel should or shouldn’t do, but Israel must freely weigh its options and proceed with the determination to destroy its evil enemy Hamas. It is easy from 8,000 miles away for college students to prance around, naively fist pumping condemnation for Israel. However, the enemy is truly at the door and time has run out for the self preservation of the Israeli people. Shame to those who dare judge how they choose their fate.
How many more lives will be lost, and how much more money will you print, thereby reducing the real income, national security, and standard of living of your own citizens, in some misguided, futile attempt to rid the world of terrorism?
Israel wont magically be safe from future terrorism simply because they remove Hamas from the equation. Hamas is simply the physical representation of an idea. Therefore, in the future, new organizations will form; and like hamas, they will chant "river to the see palestine shall be free"; and like Hamas, they will call for a Global jihad.
You will have spent countless billions, have a weaker economy, weaker security, and the very same problem you sought to resolve will be right back on your doorstep.
Totally agree...Israel is constantly telling the Gazans to get out of the way and Hamas is telling them not to believe the announcements.....Hamas has used Gazans as pawns and human shields for decades....get with the program and allow what Mr. Dershowitz is saying into the heart.....if you disagree.....we cannot be fearful or ignorant.....this is a war of Evel vs good, a spiritual war......no terrorist organization is good.......Hamas is a terrorist organization VOTED into power by the Gazans....excuse me but anyone who supports terrorists does not know what a terrorist is on any level...we voted in Biden and look at what the consequences are....
