Pure bunk. Here you go unfairly defending your pal Biden again. Hunter was charged with tax evasion and various gun charges. Those are real felonies and as we speak, thousands are in prison in America today, for the very same charges. Hunter pleaded guilty on all charges, was found guilty by a jury of his peers and convicted. Nothing unfair about it, nothing political....a run of mill the tax and gun trial. As Democrats are fond of saying: No one is above the law! Except of course Democrats themselves. The Biden crime family get away with it again.
The pre-emptive pardon opens Hunter up to virtually unlimited questioning by Congress - since he can't plead the Fifth Amendment: "In the 1915 case of Burdick v. U.S., George Burdick refused a pre-emptive pardon ... because accepting it would have meant that he could not claim his Fifth Amendment privilege when called to give testimony relating to the pardoned crime before a grand jury." https://www.brookings.edu/articles/presidential-pardons-settled-law-unsettled-issues-and-a-downside-for-trump/
Excellent points. Perhaps now we can see how committed the Republicans are to facts and truth... They will not be 'persecuting' the now forgiven Hunter, As Desh suggested. Hunter has his 'get out of jail free' card. Now we can look into what all of his co-business operatives have admitted to. "My Dad is right here."
Yes, and the pardon has immediate effect - and Biden is still in office until 21 January of next year - that's nearly two months. The effect of the pre-emptive pardon is that Hunter may be compelled to answer questions by, say, a House committee - and he wouldn't be able to plead the Fifth Amendment. They could serve him by Friday with the subpoena, and have him in on Monday, December 9 - plenty of time to ask lots and lots of questions. And they could subpoena lots and lots of documents - and a lot of people will still be very much on the hook. There's a good reason that pardons are done on the last day of an Administration.
Your second claim is just an opinion of the author of the paper at your link and is highly speculative.
Supreme Court has never ruled on specificity of the crime in a pardon importance without specificity haven't been done including Ford of Nixon
As you correctly point out on your first claim Hunter cannot be dragged in the court to testify against Joe and James and their other conspirators or rot In prison until he does
The best choice on this is so offensive there's could pass is a constitutional amendment To all expos facto prosecution conviction execution and perhaps even torture execution. Ideally this would not be limited to the Biden's but would apply Clinton's Obama and all conspirators in every facet of society for the most grievous In degree and/or scale...
...Including the open borders treason, the Wuhan Fascism, and the making available of many tens of billions of dollars to Iran knowing full well that some would be used for terrorism against Israel in the USA.
Or a constitutional Amendment could be done to merely overturn this pardon. Well my broader suggestion is much more needed and desirable, it is also harder to pass
But a simple short overturning of the pardon could pass now
Finally as always we need a constitutional amendment to Ban Islam
There are many ridiculous slides about Bush Jr and Cheney which I have regularly dispatched. However. Bush Jr cannot be forgiven for having lied to the public That Islam means Peace Which it does not in any way and what it means is submission to Allah. Muslim means one who submits to Allah, Bush Jr did this instead of pushing for Constitutional amendment to Ban Islam which could have passed then easily.
He must never be forgiven for this. And he must be reminded of it wherever he goes. Nothing else he did makes up for it
Your reply is an incoherent hash, for the most part, chock-full of irrelevance such as "Finally as always we need a constitutional amendment to Ban Islam" which directly contravenes the First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" - that's off-point surplusage.
You've missed the point, if you'll read the law review I cited, the pardon could be overturned for lack of specificity. You'll note, if you've read the actual pardon, that specific crimes are mentioned - and for those, the pardon would hold. As for the unspecified actions, there is lack of specificity which would contravene the original intent behind the pardon power. If such a general pardon were upheld, then an Administration could perform all sorts of illegal actions, and then the culpable actors could be relieved of all responsibility for their bad acts by such a pardon, and that would make for disastrously bad public policy. As Justice Brandeis put it, in his famous dissent in Olmstead v. United States, 277 U.S. 438 (1928): "Decency, security and liberty alike demand that government officials shall be subjected to the same rules of conduct that are commands to the citizen. In a government of laws, existence of the government will be imperiled if it fails to observe the law scrupulously. Our Government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the Government becomes a lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy." Brandeis, J. in Olmstead, at 485, at https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/277/438/.
You are right, on one count - the Nixon pardon was never tested in court, but that is hardly dispositive as to the matter at hand, no court having made a decision, one way or the other, as to the merits of that pardon.
What I said was accurate. The pardon could be effectively removed by a constitutional amendment.
Such an amendment or another could also go further and do away with Statue of limitations for certain people and cases Specifically Clintons Obama Biden and all conspirators (Kerry Rice academia NGOs media biz etc)
There's nothing that prevents it there is no defense against the Constitutional amendment. The only question would be can it be passed and ratified.
Dersh may have pissed himself laughing at your problem with our constitutional amendment to Ban Islam
As an aside, The First Amendment specifically says "Congress". It It also is called the establishment collage for a reason. The First Amendment would allow banning religions or cults by the states. The States can and did have established religions at the time the Constitution was ratified.
States gradually did away with this over time
Supreme Court has tried to apply Constitutional including Bill of Right restrictions on the federal government to the states as well. This does not hold up to original text and intent. 14A provides more protection for religion. But again would be irrelevant to a new constitutional amendment
You probably believe that USA is a democracy even though the founders specifically did not want one is they were known as mob rule since antiquity. USA has always been a federated constitutional republic.
I suspect you believe in the USA was founded 1776. LOL
I read it. Don't seem like you did. My point was you presented a quote as if it was fact when it was just the opinion of the article authors.
A specificity requirement is far from fact. The article itself you quote specifically (pi) addresses that this opinion is not widely held. I took issue with you presenting something speculative as if it was fact.
The First Amendment is Irrelevant to a Constitutional Amendment to Ban Islam
For someone that purports to know a little about law, you don't have a grade school understanding.
The Constitution and Prior Amendments are Irrelevant to a New Amendment
Even retarded sixth graders understand this if they paid attention in class.
Do you not understand what the word amendment means?
The Constitutional Amendment for Prohibition (18) was undone by another Constitutional Amendment (21).
An amendment changes what came before in the original. If any conflict, the newer governs.
This is before even considering Islam is Not a Religion but a violent supremacist totalitarian Cult Ideology like Collectivism. Islam and LDS Have the same fatal flaw. Each was created by false prophet with a founding document purported to be the verbatim word of an infallible Omniscient God dictated by an angel. So each is falsifiable unlike the Old and New Testament which are just collection of books by men Canonized by Men. Many for which no original exists and authors unknown. Too many by Paul in the New testament. The Joe Osteen of his day. Smith Ripped off Mohammad as Mohammad ripped off Old and New Testament.
The only thing more funny is if you're actually a legal professional.
Complete loss for words. Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, and the Biden family have been involved in numerous activities which appear by any reasonable measure to be a crime syndicate. From laundering money, sexually illegal acts, and political favors for hire. This was not law fare. They are a complete criminal enterprise. Nonsense that he is being politically charged. First they tried a sweetheart deal that a judge and the prosecutor admitted they had never seen such a deal.
Pardon for Hunter and not for any real political J6 prisoners, Julian Assange, and Edward Snowden. Biden has made a mockery of the office of the president. He will be remembered as the worst president in modern history. That is his legacy. A liar for over 40 years in Congress and a liar as a president. Shameful.
Is it my imagination or do you simply overlook the certainty that Hunter's criminal prosecution - far from being primarily an instance of politically-targeted lawfare - was rather an administration inside-job sop to throw to public opinion such that FAR MORE SERIOUS AND BIDEN-FAMILY IMPLICATING crimes could be ignored (i.e., with the claim, "Look, there's no preferential treatment; Hunter is being prosecuted. No one is above the law!")?
Doesn't almost everyone know this - let alone America's most-famous jurist?
The gun violations were the least of it. Hunter was almost certainly guilty of far more serious crimes involving selling his father's influence as VP. If he wasn't guilty, then "10% for the Big Guy" certainly was.
You forget that there was a sweetheart plea deal as a pretext for blanket immunity for Hunter. The judge rejected the plea deal and Merrick Garland was embarrassed into appointing a special Prosecutor.
Professor - You go far too easy on Biden, stating that his decision was “all too human”. Had he said this once I could agree, but the repetition hundreds of times by Biden and his representatives prior to the election shows his administration for what it has been - completely illegitimate and unscrupulous.
Additionally, while it hasn’t been mentioned in the press the truly gravest charges against Hunter Biden being tax fraud, have no statute of limitations.
Charges were a Pretext for blanket immunity plea deal
Please deal was so absurd that the Judge rejected it and far left Proscripting AG Garland appointed Weiss Special Prosecutor possibly on Biden's order or with Biden consent.
Same Merrick Garland who suppressed truth about Hunter Biden laptop once he became AG
Same Merrick Garland that Fascistly went after Right and protected the left.
There was no political prosecution here.
The sweetheart plea for immunity blew up in their face because the judge.
Here is a detailed explanation of the scam DOJ prosecutors tried to protect Hunter that blew up in their face.
It appears the pardon gives Hunter immunity from prosecution for any offense in the prior ten years. Has the pardon power ever provided that scale of immunity in the past? What if evidence were to emerge that he murdered someone? Would he be immune from prosecution?
The podcast theme is "Show me the man, I will tell you the crime". This would be easy for Beria. There is Dershowitz. .Here is evidence about him from Connie Bruck, investigative reporter and Julie Brown, another investigator, published in their respective media outlets, New Yorker and Miami Herald. And there is Dershowitz scared of appearing in court, arranging a million dollar hush money payment and intimidating a Federal DA, who lost his career for that lack of cojones. And the crime...let me open the envelope...SERIAL .PEDOPHILIC RAPE OF UNDERAGE CHILDREN.
The GOP and Trump have perfected the art of double-think, demanding strict adherence to "rules" they’ve gleefully torched. They insist on accountability for their enemies while excusing or outright celebrating their own rule-breaking. From undermining the justice system to defying constitutional norms, they weaponize laws as tools of convenience—enforcing them selectively to punish dissent while claiming victimhood when held to account. It’s not rule-following they champion; it’s the illusion of it, wielded to mask their own relentless pursuit of unchecked power.
Tired of the GOP's hypocrisy, nihilism, and corruption? Subscribe here:
Can you please explain Louis Lerner and the IRS' weaponized attack specifically on the US citizens that were members of the Tea Party, then?
In May 2013, Lerner publicly apologized for the IRS's inappropriate targeting of conservative groups, particularly those with "tea party" or "patriot" in their names, during the 2012 election cycle
This early example of Lawfare by the Left that pre-dates anything having to do with Trump.
Ah, the perennial invocation of Lois Lerner and the IRS scandal—a well-worn talking point trotted out whenever modern Republican abuses of power need deflection. Let’s unpack this with the clarity and reason this discussion deserves.
First, it’s worth noting that the IRS’s actions, while undeniably flawed and deserving of scrutiny, were investigated extensively. The bipartisan Senate Finance Committee report found that both conservative and progressive groups were inappropriately scrutinized, though conservative groups faced a disproportionate impact. Was it a bureaucratic mess? Absolutely. Was it part of some grand, left-wing scheme of “lawfare”? Hardly. In fact, the committee found no evidence that Lerner or anyone else in the IRS acted out of political bias. It was incompetence and poor oversight, not the sinister conspiracy your narrative insists upon.
Contrast this with Trump’s administration, where weaponizing government institutions was not a mishap—it was the strategy. Trump himself openly called for using the Justice Department to target his political enemies, including pressuring officials to investigate Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton without credible evidence. The IRS scandal you reference pales in comparison to Trump’s relentless push to overturn the results of the 2020 election, culminating in a violent insurrection and the attempted subversion of constitutional processes.
Further, the Right’s sudden disdain for “lawfare” is ironic given its recent enthusiastic embrace of it. From using state legislatures to enact draconian voter suppression laws to Ron DeSantis wielding state power to punish companies like Disney for dissenting against his policies, the GOP has made a fine art of bending legal systems to serve its agenda. Let’s not forget Trump’s infamous lawsuit spree, which included frivolous attempts to delegitimize votes in battleground states, wasting millions in taxpayer dollars and clogging the courts with baseless claims.
So while you reach back a decade for an example of IRS incompetence that was investigated, criticized, and corrected, the modern GOP has made institutional abuse a central feature of its platform. By every measure, the comparison fails.
In short, dragging out Lois Lerner to excuse Trump’s overt disdain for the rule of law is like pointing to a traffic violation while defending someone for arson. It’s not just irrelevant—it’s an insult to anyone paying attention.
I agree, you do need to get treatment for your TDS! People's lives were destroyed by the Leftist hijacking of IRS and the way you wave away this destruction is disturbing. You clearly are here, posting, to simply be stubbornly contrarian, not to be reasoned with.
Ah, Tucker, the classic cry of "TDS" whenever confronted with facts and logic—like clockwork. It's almost as if acknowledging hypocrisy and corruption makes you uncomfortable, so you retreat into lazy labels.
But let’s be clear: pointing out the GOP’s rule-bending and self-serving power grabs isn’t a symptom of “derangement”—it’s just an observation of reality. If you’d rather not engage with that reality, fine, but clinging to your "TDS" crutch isn’t the clever defense you think it is. It’s tired, predictable, and, frankly, a little sad. Stay comfortable in your bubble, though. Ignorance is bliss, right?
I agree—the "evils of lawfare" and the "profitability of selling influence" are meaningful topics when discussing Donald Trump—a man whose career and presidency epitomize both.
Lawfare: A Strategy, Not a Complaint
Trump’s weaponization of the legal system isn’t just incidental; it’s a hallmark of his brand. From frivolous lawsuits to blatant abuses of power, he’s repeatedly turned lawfare into an art form. Consider his efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Trump pressured the Justice Department to “just say the election was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the Republican congressmen,” as documented in DOJ officials’ testimonies. He personally called Georgia’s Secretary of State, demanding a fabricated 11,780 votes. This isn’t a man who respects the law—it’s a man who sees it as a cudgel for retaining power.
Then there’s the incessant stream of lawsuits aimed at silencing critics and suppressing dissent. Trump notoriously sues anyone who threatens his ego, from journalists to political opponents, in an attempt to financially and reputationally exhaust them. The GOP’s ongoing efforts to criminalize abortion, voter outreach, and dissenting speech on social issues echo this playbook: weaponize the law to punish opposition while claiming victimhood when held accountable.
Selling Influence: A Trump Specialty
As for the “profitability of selling influence,” one need look no further than the grift factory that is Trump’s post-presidency. His businesses raked in millions during his presidency as foreign officials and lobbyists flooded his properties to curry favor. The Trump International Hotel in D.C. became a de facto cash register for influence-peddling. Saudi Arabia hosted a golf tournament at a Trump property, conveniently aligned with U.S.-Saudi tensions.
Even Jared Kushner got in on the act, securing a $2 billion investment from a Saudi fund shortly after leaving the White House—despite objections from the fund’s advisors. Are we supposed to believe this windfall had nothing to do with Kushner’s proximity to power?
Meanwhile, Trump’s endless fundraising campaigns under the guise of “election defense” funneled millions into his PACs. Where does the money go? Not to legal defenses or campaign efforts but to paying Trump’s personal expenses and legal fees. He’s literally monetizing his grievances, turning victimhood into a brand and accountability into a profit stream.
Hypocrisy at Its Peak
To accuse others of lawfare or influence-peddling while excusing Trump’s blatant abuses is hypocrisy on steroids. The modern GOP, under Trump’s influence, has mastered this playbook: deflect with accusations of lawfare while undermining democracy, cry “witch hunt” while weaponizing laws against marginalized groups, and denounce corruption while profiting from it at every turn.
Trump’s legacy isn’t just one of legal abuse and influence profiteering; it’s one of normalizing these evils for a new generation of politicians. His success in these areas is not a critique of others—it’s an indictment of himself and the movement he leads.
You got it! The contrast between Joe Biden and Donald Trump as public servants is stark and defining. Biden’s career reflects a lifetime of dedication to the public good, while Trump’s tenure exposes a relentless devotion to his fragile ego.
Biden, despite personal tragedies, has spent decades championing legislation like the Violence Against Women Act, expanding healthcare through the Affordable Care Act, and rebuilding America with the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. His presidency focuses on addressing real challenges—pandemic recovery, infrastructure, and economic stability—driven by a belief in service over self.
Trump, by contrast, treated the presidency as a stage for self-aggrandizement. His policies, like the 2017 tax cuts, prioritized the wealthy, including himself, while neglecting the needs of ordinary Americans. His foreign policy sought validation from dictators rather than advancing national interests. Most damning, his refusal to accept the 2020 election results culminated in the January 6th insurrection, an attack on democracy to soothe his ego.
Biden builds; Trump destroys. Biden governs for the people; Trump governs for himself.
Ah, I see you’ve mistaken QAnon talking points and nonsensical insults for insight. Let me know when you’re ready to engage with substance—assuming that’s within reach.
Look, you are either oblivious to all the dirt in the Biden Crime Family or you just hate Trump so much that you’re thinking is clouded. Did you vote for this demented old man, criminal for selling his influence to other countries (not just any country-China, Ukraine, Russia, others)? He is a racist. He is corrupt. He and Kamala decimated the Democrat brand, walking out the door with 2 ongoing wars they started and an open border even during Covid. Dumpster fire of an administration, domestically and in foreign affairs. Look, I’ve contested with the Democrat blind and it’s always the same thing cuz they would support a turnip(and they did in Biden) if it had Democrat written on it. You can go on posting if it makes you feel better, developing your leftist arguments that have never worked throughout history. It’s good we have someone in office that not only takes authority seriously, but also the responsibility. Goodbye and stop with the Biden/Harris adoration; you are worshipping communists and IslamoNazi’s who don’t care about Americans.
Dersh! Your defense of the Biden grift scheme is beneath you. Your statement and conclusion is an inversion of the actual dynamics, and an insult to the great Justice Robert Jackson.
'The Big Guy' of Biden fame is issuing a pardon to obscure the very tangible connection to his own international trade of influence peddling - an influence scheme with cash-flow from known American enemies (China is hardly an ally). As documents have shown, Hunter's actions and payoffs were ENTIRELY based on his direct relationship to his father.
To state that he is now being capriciously pursued only because of his relationship to his father is an insult to common sense. His family relationship is really the ONLY reason his secreted LLC's saw multiple millions in payola.
As a father, this time, my first ever, I side with Joe ... after all if Hunter ended up in this mess he did so because his father enabled it ... Old Man Joe should have been there to stop it, not enable it. Joe is too far gone for indicting him ... he is over, a no longer useable puppet by the Puppet Masters. However, the many parties who sought to abuse the rule of law and weaponised the DOJ and the alphabet agencies against Trump are not. Trump is not going to pursue Old Man Joe, like he did not want to cause hundreds of Iranian widows in retaliation for the Iranian downing of an unmanned US drone. This "evil" man comes up like a saint compared to the war mongering likes of Papa Cheney, his Baby Lizzie Cheney, Victoria Nuland, and Her Majesty, Hillary ... Horrifically distinct from Trump's empathy, Hillary Rodham Clinton who chuckled when corrupted by donor monies from Qatar and Saudi Arabia and enabled by the shameful South African seat at the UN Security Council, succeeded in ending Gaddafi ... sodomised with a bayonet in a dusty culvert!!! HRC is enough to make anyone puke in revulsion ... Bondi with Patel must investigate the deliberate weaponisation of the DOJ and alphabet agencies to stifle the "will of the American people" ... albeit they were not successful these criminals need to be held fully accountable to the maximum provided for by the law.
Anyone that didn't celebrate Qaddafi's death need to leave the country and go to Gaza you Chamberlain Diseased POS.
Before partisans on both sides jump in
Clintons Obama Trump Bidens are All horrific wwith Biden the worst President Ever and Trump worst GOP one. Obama Clinton and Carter are close behind Biden.
Trump won despite a majority of the GOP and a majority of those who flipped don't like him, because they don't like Democrats and especially Biden and Kamala more. Before the election we said he would win because of this and he did
t’s worth noting that while Hunter has faced relentless scrutiny for his personal struggles, Donald Trump’s children—Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric—have skirted accountability despite serious allegations of criminal activity. These include defrauding investors in Trump real estate projects, violating campaign finance laws through unreported donations, and misusing charitable funds from the Trump Foundation (which was shut down after a court found it repeatedly broke the law). Yet, none of these cases were pursued with the same fervor as Hunter’s relatively minor charges.
Hunter's "relatively minor charges" were a distraction from the far more serious bribes he took selling his father's influence as VP. 10% for the Big Guy!
The GOP's grievances appear to be quite inconsistent. (But what can one expect?)
Donald Trump didn’t just use pardons; he abused them. They became instruments of self-preservation, rewarding loyalty, protecting his secrets, and emboldening criminality. Here’s just a sampling of Trump’s “greatest hits”:
Michael Flynn: Trump’s former National Security Adviser brazenly lied to federal investigators about covert discussions with the Russian ambassador—while the U.S. was investigating Russia’s interference in a presidential election. His lies directly undermined national security and the integrity of the investigation into foreign attacks on American democracy. Trump pardoned him without hesitation, erasing any accountability for actions that jeopardized the nation.
Roger Stone: A self-proclaimed dirty trickster and longtime confidant of Trump, Stone was convicted of obstructing a congressional investigation into Russian election interference. He lied under oath, tampered with witnesses, and even issued violent threats—all to protect Trump. His pardon wasn’t about justice; it was a brazen payoff for silence, mocking the legal system.
Paul Manafort: Trump’s campaign chairman laundered tens of millions of dollars through offshore accounts while acting as an unregistered agent for foreign governments, including pro-Russian forces in Ukraine. Manafort repeatedly lied to federal investigators—even after agreeing to cooperate—compromising U.S. foreign policy. Trump’s pardon ensured his international corruption would remain unpunished.
Steve Bannon: Trump’s former strategist and architect of political chaos defrauded Trump’s own supporters out of millions with a fake border wall charity. Bannon siphoned donor money for personal luxuries while mocking the very people he claimed to represent. Trump pardoned him before trial, sparing him from accountability for one of the most cynical scams in recent memory.
Charles Kushner: Jared Kushner’s father orchestrated a malicious blackmail scheme involving a prostitute to entrap his brother-in-law and videotaped the encounter to silence him. He also committed tax evasion and illegal campaign donations. Trump’s pardon wasn’t about mercy—it was about shielding his inner circle, no matter how vile their crimes.
These weren’t acts of compassion—they were deliberate assaults on justice, security, and the rule of law. Each pardon sent a chilling message: loyalty to Trump trumps accountability, ethics, and even national security. Trump didn’t just excuse these crimes—he endorsed them, further corroding the institutions meant to uphold democracy.
Fascist AG Merrick Garland and Fascist FBI Director fey Wray has plenty of time to investigate and prosecute those but didn't because you misrepresent them and their severity and context.
I can't stand Trump and his family longer and more than any Democrat which they long were. Jared Dad's was convicted by Chris Christie for illegal Democrat Campaign Donations.
But Clintons and Bidens are incredibly Corrupt.
Clintons Bidens and Obama are Treasonous.
•Making huge sums available to Iran knowing they would be partly used for Terror vs Israel and the USA
•Open Borders which allowed in Enemy Terrorists and Jihadi and Enemy Spies and Agents along with gang and cartel members and murders, rapists, human traffickers, and more
Well, "DemMedia Propagana"—what an ironic, self-aware name to go by—bravo for setting the tone. You certainly burn a lot of calories stringing together disjointed accusations and conspiracy theories. If only that energy could be redirected toward understanding the words you’re using, like "fascist." Spoiler alert: it doesn't just mean "someone I don't like."
Fascist Merrick Garland? The man who meticulously follows legal procedure like he’s auditioning for a judicial etiquette handbook? Fascist FBI Director Wray? You mean the Trump-appointed Wray? If these two are fascists, then the word has truly lost all meaning. Maybe crack open a history book and read up on actual fascists—you’ll find they didn’t spend their days ensuring due process and restraint in the face of political pressure.
And speaking of misrepresentation, let’s dive into your laundry list of grievances. Open borders enabling terrorists, spies, and your local Halloween monsters? That’s a Fox News fever dream, not reality. And as for Iran, every administration has made deals with foreign adversaries—unless you think Reagan’s Iran-Contra scandal was just an off-brand charity event.
You say you can’t stand Trump and his family, yet you parrot the same tired "Clinton-Biden-Obama treason" line as if it’s emboidered on your MAGA hat. The Bidens are corrupt, the Clintons are treasonous, and yet, the guy whose foundation, family business, and inaugural committee are magnets for subpoenas? Totally squeaky clean. Got it.
Here’s the thing, DemMedia: if you want to be taken seriously, come back with coherent arguments based on facts, not a scattershot of buzzwords and hyperbole. Until then, I’d recommend a little self-reflection—and maybe a dictionary.
Mr. Dershowitz, you should take a look at my SubStack when you have a moment… if you want to know more about the depths these people will go for lawfare… try being held with no ability to even access the courts because your father is the most corrupt President in history.

But the pre-emptive pardon may not have effect: "Presidential pardons must satisfy a modest procedural rule: they must list the specific crimes covered by the pardon. The “specificity requirement” means that vague and broadly worded pardons are invalid." https://digitalcommons.lib.uconn.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1434&context=law_review

Thanks for taking the bait.
You proved yourself a dunce.
You're Kamala's speechwriter, right?
I am a lifelong Constitutional Conservative never a Democrat unlike Trump and much of his cult.
That's what I meant
Garvest Charges have not been filed.
Here is a detailed explanation of the scam DOJ prosecutors tried to protect Hunter that blew up in their face.
https://www.heritage.org/crime-and-justice/commentary/why-judge-refused-rubber-stamp-the-shady-hunter-biden-plea-deal
It appears the pardon gives Hunter immunity from prosecution for any offense in the prior ten years. Has the pardon power ever provided that scale of immunity in the past? What if evidence were to emerge that he murdered someone? Would he be immune from prosecution?
Biden has a clear conflict of interest. Presidents should not be able to pardon themselves or their family.

You must be delusional. You have just described what Democrats (not Republicans) have been doing for at least the last eight years.
You need to get treatment for your TDS!
Ignorance is bliss, right?
the evils of lawfare AND the profitability of selling influence.
Yep. Now use this enthusiasm to discuss the Biden career as a “public servant”.
I truly appreciate the support!
You sure do think highly of corrupt racist career politicians.
Ah, I see you’ve mistaken QAnon talking points and nonsensical insults for insight. Let me know when you’re ready to engage with substance—assuming that’s within reach.
What’s Qanon?
What did the BIG Guy really get?
You are deranged.
Qaddafi was responsible for the Pan Am 103
Anyone that didn't celebrate Qaddafi's death need to leave the country and go to Gaza you Chamberlain Diseased POS.
Before partisans on both sides jump in
Clintons Obama Trump Bidens are All horrific wwith Biden the worst President Ever and Trump worst GOP one. Obama Clinton and Carter are close behind Biden.
Trump won despite a majority of the GOP and a majority of those who flipped don't like him, because they don't like Democrats and especially Biden and Kamala more. Before the election we said he would win because of this and he did
Joe deserves prosecution Conviction and execution as do Clinton's and Obama.
No Exception for age or mental condition.
So do all their conspirators in every facet of society
Fortunately it is available under 18 USC 241 which we have pushed for many years. Lame GOP ignored but Jack Smith took note and charged Trump with it.
I bet this exact topic was discussed during Trump and Biden's meeting at the White House after the election.
Would explain why Biden was smiling so much.
t’s worth noting that while Hunter has faced relentless scrutiny for his personal struggles, Donald Trump’s children—Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric—have skirted accountability despite serious allegations of criminal activity. These include defrauding investors in Trump real estate projects, violating campaign finance laws through unreported donations, and misusing charitable funds from the Trump Foundation (which was shut down after a court found it repeatedly broke the law). Yet, none of these cases were pursued with the same fervor as Hunter’s relatively minor charges.
https://open.substack.com/pub/patricemersault/p/an-open-letter-to-president-biden?r=4d7sow&utm_medium=ios
Bunk.
There is no way that Biden led the pardon decisions. He is being manipulated; and, that is why wenneed Presidents who are mentally fit.
Mr. Dershowitz, you should take a look at my SubStack when you have a moment… if you want to know more about the depths these people will go for lawfare… try being held with no ability to even access the courts because your father is the most corrupt President in history.
