Professor, do you know why American Universities accept large numbers of foreign students? Very simple, they pay DOUBLE tuition, that's why. Has everything to do with money. We voted a limit in our High School in foreign student enrolments for the same reasons, otherwise they would take over and we would become overly dependent on them.....but it's all about the almighty buck $$$$. A lot of it also had to do with the currency, when the dollar was weak against certain foreign countries, we got more students. Personally I loved my foreign students, many came from wealthy families, were very hard workers, polite and great students. My favorites were the South Koreans, excellent students, talented, nice people, hard workers all of them and respected my authority. My local crowd though were mostly lazy, high most of the time, up playing video games all night, truant, gave me back talk,etc. lol....typical like you see in the movies.
