Dershowitz's art of influence peddling. He is a Pardon Attorney. This means mobilizing group influence and media to release some bad guy from court-determined confinement. Not involving much innovation. Pardon attorneys have an MO, selected sort of like "paint by numbers" from one or more of the traditional Pardoning themes, .like "improperly convicted", "hard life" "not dangerous", "onerous sentence","inadequately defended," "already rehabed", "family or community needs him", "now a member of PETA" etc.

:Alan has an experienced background for being a pardon attorney. He famously secured a full and secret immunity from prosecution (non-prosecution agreement) covering all and any eventual pedo activity specifically for himself and for four Epstein co-conspirators.. The sweetheart deal for Epstein himself in 2008 had substantially the same modus operandi as Derhowitz's current work: mobilize the group and special interest influence, discuss the professional advantages connected to the application, and run a PR media campaign (those underage kids are "prostitutes, liars and thieves", over and over again).

Alan has innovated in writing pardon applications Remember the Catholic Church bishops solution to pedophile priests, simply moving them to a new parish?. Pardoning George Nader, means George agrees to leave the USA forever. Let the underage boys of Doha or Beirut (or Tel Aviv?) enjoy his attention.. Actually, that offer is not ideal for George. He was born to love specifically 14 y.o. blonde boys from Prague, a commodity uncommon in the Mideast.

Alan has also tried to be semantically innovative. He applies the term "trial penalty" to justify pardoning/commuting. Alan's clients are generally big time fraudsters, like Mark Shapiro and Irving Stetsky who stole USD 23 million thru investment fraud. They were offered plea bargains, refused them with chutzpah and were convicted and sentenced. Alan's argument was that the sentence was too harsh, it should be the same as the plea bargain offer. The fraudsters were "unfairly sentenced because they exercised their right to trial by jury". No. The plea bargain was offered to save the State expense and time of a trial. Shapiro and Stetsky refused that. The "trial penalty" is not an extra penalty at all. It was the correct sentence Shapiro and Stetsky should have received.

It is not Alan's job to be concerned about recidivism of his clients. Jonathan Braun was a big time violent drug dealer, son of very wealthy Orthodox Jewish parents. Alan has a constituency in both the Orthodox Jewish and the Chabad sect of the Ultraorthodox communities because he does favors for them when asked. In return, he speaks for them, like when arguing for pardons. Alan's winning argument came with telling the President that it would be good for his politics to grant the Braun's pardon since these communities would appreciate it.. Mr Braun has been re-arrested this week for a number of felonies, including child abuse..So Alan may earn another fee.

Alan's most famous pardon/commutation was Sholon Rubashkin, son of the Chabad kosher meat mogul family in Crown Heights. Rubashkin seemed to do everything wrong in order to wring the last penny out of a product. He cost Bill Maher, a PETA bord member, a month's sleep because Rubashkin adopted the Gestapo method off torturing Operation Valkyrie (see Tom Cruise movie) participants. Rubashkin's MO was to stick meathooks into living cows and so airlift them for hours from one part of the Iowa slaughterhouse to another as parts of the cow were hacked off while the animal lived. The sensitive faces of the cows were electrically shocked. Did you know cows scream? Rabbis apparently inexpertly slit the throats of cows which then tried to rise up on their four legs, blood streaming down, dying 10-15 minutes later. Perhaps cruelty makes the meat taste better, getting higher price. .To avoid unionization and payment of minimum wages, Rubashkin hired exclusively undocumented illegal migrants, mostly Guatemalan, a number of of whom were alleged to be underage children ( deja vu, Alan?). And there was gratuitous mistreatment. But Rubashkin also defrauded a St Louis bank of USD 27 million. He was sentenced to 27 years..So here comes Alan to do a favor for the Chabad community and free Rubashkin free.

UPDATE: NYT on April 11 2025 has a front page article on Jonathan Braun, described a woman battering rapist monster. Braun's pardon was obtained by Derhowitz thru the agency of recently pardoned fraudster Charles Kushner. So now after attacking and assaulting a number of women since his pardon, Braun is back in court facing jail again. The Braun family is wealthy and has the backing of the orthodox jewish community. Braun seems likely to be re-jailed. After a short interval, Dersh will reconnect him to Kushner, now Ambassador to Ireland, and peddling influence for supporting a Trump Project, perhaps a new pardon will be issued. Or will Dersh offer in return for pardon Braun's permanent exile to Israel, where the IDF can make use of his lack of physical restraint. Menwhile the pedophile criminal investigation of Dersh is still covered up, and Derh remains an unregistered foreign agent for Israel.

We are looking for criminal court. Where punishment for Derhowitz can be applied if guilt is determined.. Serious crimes of pedophilic rape have have been alleged, These allegations have been exhaustively investigated by the Palm Beach Police Department, and then covered up by the FBI. His improperly obtained non-.prosecution agreement for the pedophilic rape charges has been invalidated. Dershowitz has simply covered up his association with the world's foremost pedophilic gang, and the extent of his efforts protecting and enabling and encouraging Jeffrey Epstein. Anyone else would have been prosecuted- - -except for all the rich pedos who were blackmailed by the Epstein Pedo Organization..

Can you elaborate on your first sentence please for us? What exactly does "We are looking for criminal court" mean? Have you pursued a legal case against Alan? If so, can you provide us with the case number from the Palm Beach Police and other pertinent information? Also, what proof do you have that this was covered up by the FBI? I believe all of us would like to see your confirmation of this also. Again, in my last response to your ongoing allegations, I requested that you confirm that you sent Alan your personal contact information per HIS request. If you have not sent your information, I request for a second time, WHY NOT?

Professor, do you know why American Universities accept large numbers of foreign students? Very simple, they pay DOUBLE tuition, that's why. Has everything to do with money. We voted a limit in our High School in foreign student enrolments for the same reasons, otherwise they would take over and we would become overly dependent on them.....but it's all about the almighty buck $$$$. A lot of it also had to do with the currency, when the dollar was weak against certain foreign countries, we got more students. Personally I loved my foreign students, many came from wealthy families, were very hard workers, polite and great students. My favorites were the South Koreans, excellent students, talented, nice people, hard workers all of them and respected my authority. My local crowd though were mostly lazy, high most of the time, up playing video games all night, truant, gave me back talk, etc. lol....typical like you see in the movies. I exaggerate, but the comparison is staggering....lol. However, I sent all of my best AP students, local and foreign to the top Universities in America, and they all got in, no problem.

Having the federal government screen foreign students for their beliefs before admitting them to the USA opens up a can of worms. It would require a massive bureaucracy to review a million or so applicants. The criteria are highly subjective, leaving much discretion to bureaucrats who may have an incentive to reject applicants to show they’re “doing their jobs.” Applicants from certain countries are likely to face discrimination. Some applicants won’t be totally honest about their beliefs. As high school graduates, many of them haven’t yet formed their beliefs and don’t know how they’ll evolve in a college environment. Colleges that are dependent on foreign students will suffer financially.

As a civil libertarian who has taught many foreign students, Alan should know better.

PS: Is it possible to find out if and when Alan responds to this comment?

The students are foreign radicals. School receives full tuition plus bonus payola. Guess what? A large number of the faculty are also anti-American foreigners from countries hostile to America. Their countries of origin pay their way by sponsoring programs and grants which are also anti-American. The Universities are international for profit vendors who have sold out America and American values for cash. And they pay no U.S. taxes. Beyond stupid.

Professor Dershowitz,

In your opinion, can a Surpreme Court Justice be replaced through the use of the clause: “ "shall hold their Offices during good Behavior. “ Such as in the case of an unconstitutional ruling.

If in your opinion this may be possible, could you explain the course of needed actions to secure such an outcome please.

Also, if you believe this to be in error, kindly explain those reasoning also.

Thank you,

Scott Sharer

The right question is whether it is good or bad for the generation of new knowledge and the transmission of high culture and moral leadership from one generation to the next.

Universities are a means, not an end. Something might well improve all those ends while harming the universities as institutions, or in particular certain sections of their administrators, faculties, and/or students. If so, who will weep even a tear for the universities other than their members?
