Well formulated and presented argument. The only other thing is that Biden is directly responsible for the appointment of Austin, Blinken, and others who are doing nothing more than acting as an enabler of Iran to wreak havoc on Israel. With over 90 attacks against our military from Iranian proxies, Iran is embolden to cause even more chaos around this situation. President Biden MUST do more to punish and deter Iran for their destructive practices including reinstating sanctions on Iranian oil exportation and sales. Only then will Israel have the free hand that it needs to completely crush Hamas.

This is one of your best, Alan. Keep 'em coming.

The world ought to thank the Israelis for ridding them of Hamas. You’re welcome!

If only there were more academics like Alan, and fewer Scott Sumner's (basically a mouth piece for the CCP) and Claudine Gay's, a woman who plagiarized her dissertation, America would be respectable again.

It is unfathomable that Harvard could not find anyone better.

At this point, the school needs to be rebranded, and its 99% radical left faculty needs to get canned.

Who wants to put Harvard on their resume anymore? I'm ashamed.

Not just canned!

Mr Austin need not give Israel military, or any other advice. Armchair critics should remember, or probably learn, that since 1948, Israel has defeated the combined Arab armies 3 times. In 1948, the day after the State of Israel came into being, the combined Arab armies attacked. And lost the war. In 1973, similar scenario. Then in 1967, Israel defeated them all in only 6 days. In contrast, was Mr Austin in charge when the US retreated from Afghanistan?

I believe Lloyd is an "affirmative action" general. He is trying to advise Israel on how to fight a war. That's laughable. Israel has been at war since its birth. This is a televised war for all to see. Anybody who does not go into this with a preconceived idea of who are the good guys and who are the bad guys can see that Israel is showing great restraint. Hamas, Gaza, no difference. Sure, some would like to think that one group are terrorists & the other are civilians, WRONG. One group are terrorists & the other are terrorist supporters. Whatever the reason they are as described. I see no reason for Gaza to exist. No Arab country wants them. They bring this reputation with them & nobody else wants to deal with their deceit.

General Austin is a good example of when you hire for diverse you make it worse. Or as Victor Davis Hanson so admirably states, "We are being governed by a cabinecy of dunces."

Well said. One can not rely on morally corrupt Democrats for advice on Israel.

Are old men morally required to keep their underwear on while getting massages from 14 year old girls who are trafficked by Mossad agents who make secret tapes of powerful men so Israel can use them for blackmail?

Good job on Morgan, professor. In this short interview, a Palestinian professor from Princeton mentions interesting polls before and after 10/7

So he's using Iraq as a model?

Yes, but it is morally responsible for continously killing thousands of innocent people, including women and children.

Civilians and Hamas Edith.

Stop with the moral responsibility case.

That position can only used in a case of a first attack and continuation of a first attack, which has been going on since Oct 7th . Not the response to the first attack,

Please, if you are not familiar with the Rules of War google: Geneva Convention

Protocol 1

IHL Protocol 97

Rome 1998 ratified the use as a War Crime.

Right. But it is OK to bomb cheering civilians who are supporting murder and rape of innocent Israeli civilians.

Okay, but do not expect Americans to run in and fight another war based on lies, which is what Zionists pushed for in Iraq.

If Israelis are going to steal land and push Palestinians off their property, then they're going to fight this alone.

How many time has Israel offered to share land? Jordan and Egypt don't want the pales. They are bat crazy and will start a war. The part about America make no sense. Israel has shown an ability to defend itself. Are you hormonal or something?

only so much for you,

because like most citizens of the world, what they think, what you think, what I think, is based on your morals, their morals , my morals.

What you think and feel what is moral to you, and people who share your position, is of no matter.

I hate to break it to you, lets see you post, start posting that Hamas should stop firing rockets into Isreal. That Hamas should stop using civilians as cover, Mosques, Hospitals, daycares,

And also give everyone in the world, the reason why Israel should stop retaliatory strikes.
