Sir, thank you for seeing history for the harsh reality that it is. Young people always seem to think they have “discovered” truth and idolize the wrong people as strong and on the right side. Maturity takes time. Reading and understanding the atrocities of history may seem boring, but every generation needs to learn these lessons. God bless you, Sir. I enjoy your books, TV shows, and these online missives. I stand with Israel.

I agree that radicalization and statism is a serious concern, but it's coming from the left not the right.

And the name the 'Nationalist Socialist Party' was not intended to dupe anyone. Hitler was a socialist. He was not a free market capitalist. He wanted to centralize investment into the hands of a single actor, then use that actor to subsidize private sectors. In other words, he wanted to plan the economy through subsidies and coerce private enterprise by having a government agent on each board, and an office in each company.

The jews were the 'problem' according to Hitler because he believed they controlled the finances. If only Germans -- what he called 'real germans' -- had access to investment, he mused, they'd live in a utopia. That's what he sold to the public. And it's not much different than what the left is selling to the public today. If only the 'minority' had access to the capital. If only hollywood, the government and the banks didn't have so many 'white people.' including those horrible 'jews' we'd all live in perfect order and harmony.

Hitler's plan for Germany was top-down, state capitalism in the same mold as the CCP. That is also the goal of the left in the United States.

Which begs the question. If you oppose statism, which I know you do, why do you support socialism. You cannot have socialism without statism.

There is another form of cultural statism: i.e, regulation that keeps women out of certain professions or regulating what kind of sex you can have in your bedroom. This has often been wrongly associated with the 'right'. Cultural statism can come from both sides of the aisle.

But as Millei, in argentina correctly pointed out, the socialists will kill you. Cultural statism might be a nuisance, but socialism is the worst kind of statism because it will literally kill you.

These people will continue their coercive policy of distribution, subsidizing companies, centralizing investment until they capture the means of production. Until, for example, they control entire industries like Health care. What kind of health you can get, and the quality of that health is then determined by an apparatchik.

And that is just the start. Soon, it's control over the banks, control over energy, control over farming, and then control over what you can eat, produce, own, etc, etc.

Be careful who you vote for, Alan. These are not your friends. Don't be a 'useful idiot'.
