I think the New York Times knows the truth, but prefers to appease their hard left viewers, and therefore promulgate the narrative that Israel is an "oppressor" and deserves to be punished. their board of directors and shareholders are also hard left.

I totally agree. When I saw the New York Times story I was absolutely sickened. Frankly throughout this entire debacle the New York Times, like most of the mainstream media, has been to journalism as cockroaches are to restaurants. No one could mistakenly call them journalists unless they first shove the word “yellow” in front of it. They are not journalists but apologist propagandists and enablers of evil. The New York Times has been absolutely despicable as has CBS. They call Hamas “militants” or “gunman” but they never call Hamas terrorists! They have no right to complain at the public does not trust journalist. They have earned their distrust. Having read pretty much all of your books on the subject I am absolutely sick and by the intellectual dishonesty of the media.
Yes and the Biden Admin is encouraging more attacks by making more money available to Iran which in turn funnels some of those millions into real support for Hezbollah/Hamas. Over 6 attacks occurred over Thanksgiving by Iranian proxies with NO RESPONSE from the US. This ridiculousness will continue as long as Biden encourages and tolerates Iran.
