lol Let’s review: there are few actual civilians in Gaza; Israel doesn’t occupy Gaza, rather it takes care of it, in all Israel’s beneficence; Israel has done more to protect civilians in Gaza than any other county in the history of warfare; pro-ceasefire demos are really aimed at destroying *American democracy.* What’s the subject of the next installment? Maybe...only Israel protects journalists.

The only thing the residents of Gaza are prevented from doing by Israel is importing weapons (or materials that can be made into weapons) and entering Israel proper. The other constraints are enforced by their fellow Arab Muslims (Egypt, and the other Muslim states that will not let the residents of Gaza enter their territory). The Arabs made the people of Gaza 'refugees' by launching their failed war of conquest against Israel and, if concerned about their fate, should be the ones to allow the people of Gaza to immigrate to their countries.

Marxists are inhumane monsters who view everything in terms of oppressor/oppressed. They cannot see the suffering of individuals. Therefore, they have no compassion for the Jewish Israeli victims of the October 7 atrocities who they view as the "oppressors", "occupiers" "settlers". The hard left does not value the individual, they place people into groups and dehumanize them.

"What was the first ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas?

The deal provided for a four-day pause in fighting, the release of 50 Israeli hostages and 150 Palestinian prisoners, and the entry of more humanitarian aid into Gaza. The ceasefire agreement allowed up to 200 trucks of aid to enter Gaza daily. All Israelis and Palestinians freed were to be women and children" Now, I hear that a second cease-fire has been arranged.

What disturbs me about the cease-fire is that Hamas must be getting fuel and other necessary building materials to launch the missiles into Israel. As successful as the Israelis are, they have been unable to shutdown all of the missile sites and its missiles from entering Israel. Is the ceasefire with its " life saving" supplies " an answer to the prayers of Hamas? How does the cease- fire improve Israel's chances of shutting down The Hamas government? Or is it that the Biden Administration and its overseas allies don't want a decisive win for Israel? Would a decisive win open up more war fronts? Are the powers that be afraid of Moslem uprisings in their prospective countries. Hmm, thinking aloud.

I agree with most of what you said. I would only argue that most libertarians also support Russia in the Ukraine war, if only because they believe that Donbas has the right to self determination.

We have to recognize that the United States funneled money through NGO's, with the sole intent to overthrow Yanukovych (the usual modus operandi of the CIA).

When the CIA succeeded at removing Yanukovych, the people who voted for him, predominately in Donbas, chose to secede. Ukraine likes to call this a "revolution" but it's difficult to ascertain how violently rioting until the president steps down equates to a revolution. It's the very definition of a coup.

The MINSK agreement gave autonomy to Donbass, and that autonomy was consistently violated by Kiev for eight years. I don't know if Zelensky had anything to do with that violation, but we know that American shells -- given to the military -- landed on the doorsteps of Donbas residents. Someone in the military, perhaps the neo-nazi Azov Battallion, was certainly shelling Donbas intermittently between 2014 and 2021.

So what do you do when your living in your cellar for eight years?

You ask for help. And that is precisely what happened. Considering they prefer Russia to Ukraine, as the lesser of the two evils, they chose to encourage Putin to engage. Putin, to his credit, tried to resolve the issue on a number of occassions. But instead of constructive dialogue, our low I.Q. apparatchiks sent more weapons (1.5B) to Kiev in 2019.

Ukraine is not known for their stability. This is quite possibly the most corrupt country in the world.

So it shouldn't be surprising that Russia would enter the civil war -- if only to end it once and for all.
