Professor I would disagree and say that there is systemic racism against whites and asians. Whites and asians have a significantly lower acceptance rate at all of the top colleges to black students with comparable scores, and are favored due to the color of their skin. Is that not the dfinition of systemic racism>
I have no way of contacting Alan to request that he offer his opinion on this topic so I'm posting it here.
Mark McCloskey of St. Louis, MO pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault. The only clause in the statute that he could possibly be guilty of is this.
"(3)The person purposely places such domestic victim in apprehension of immediate physical injury by any means;”
Isn't that clause unconstitutional because it’s an open ended clause and makes it against the law for ANYONE to appear to be prepared to protect themself in ANY manner against ANY perceived threat and in ANY situation?
In my opinion, that clause of the statute needs to be stricken from the books because it’s unconstitutional as worded and Mark McCloskey should withdraw his guilty plea. The McCloskey’s should sue the State of Missouri for violating their civil rights and take it all the way to the United States Supreme Court if necessary.
Furthermore; If Mark McCloskey is guilty of fourth-degree assault based on 565.076. 1 (3)
The person purposely places such domestic victim in apprehension of immediate physical injury by any means; then absolutely every one of the trespassing protesters are also guilty of violating the exact same fourth-degree assault statute.
Well said. We should not stop until all people are truly treated equally and can peacefully live a life of liberty and happiness. But with so much progress, why does it feel like we are in the midst of a cultural war? Change is not easy perhaps, but I think there's more going on. When does anti-racism swing around and become unfairly punitive towards the great grandchildren of those white protestants you mentioned? I think there is a danger we may end up with a new kind of racism going on - condoned by a new kind of radical anti-racist, and even enforced by courts who are blinded by political activism. Love to know your thoughts on the critical race theory debate going on.
Critical race theory is not scholarship. It is advocacy. It should never be a requirement. Ony voluntarily.

I've been asking for evidence of systemic racism for a while and to date no one has been able to present anything to support the claims.
