AD: if Canadians are that weak with a knee jerk reaction to Trump’s blow hard comments, they deserve the Liberals. Regarding foreign policy, Trump either doesn’t really know nor grasp the threat of Putin’s policies and the mullahs in Iran. Furthermore, he may be surrounded and mislead by foreign policy neophytes. He needs Pompeo & Bolton! Period!

Rubio and Gabbard are not neophytes. They're just not warhawks. We have to be pragmatic.

1. America caused the war in Ukraine by funding the overthrow of Yanukovych. That is not propaganda. It is a well established fact.

2. Even if you believe, like Bolton, that the CIA and military should be used for regime change, and that America should bully everyone abroad to get our way, you have to recognize that Ukraine lost. They cannot win without European and American troops on the ground. Now hot-heads like Bolton love that idea, and maybe you do too, especially if you are too old to be conscripted, but Rubio and Gabbard have more common sense. Modt of us don't want to live in a nuclear fall out shelter for the next 7 decades of our life.

3. Zelensky has not held an election since 2023. The man is quite literally a dictator. He is no better than Putin. He is nothing but a puppet, a useful idiot, installed by us. His poll ratings are abysmal because Ukranians are tired of their young men being dragged to war, and that is precisely why he refuses to hold an election.

4. The entire region of Donbas seceded in 2014, and 90% of the residents hate Kiev. They will NEVER be part of Ukraine. Even if Russia had lost, they would still fight. They made that crystal clear 11 years ago. Nothing has changed.

Given the above, continuing the war endlessly makes no sense, unless, of course, your income is dependant on supporting the military industrial complex, like Bolton and Pompeo.

Iran is not an American problem. It is a middleeast problem. Israel needs to defend themselves. And they have partners in the region already. Saudi is no fan of Iran. Let that region deal with Iran. It is none of our business. We dont have to be the worlds police.

Thank you for your comments; too many points to debate in this venue, but overall your isolationism has untoward consequences for the US. You cannot stick your head in the sand with regards to aggressive dictatorships in Russia, Iran & China. Conflicts will not be stopped by the Atlantic & Pacific Oceans, they will end up on our shores.

The idea of Zoom calls from American Embassies to facilitate an US-based Immigration judge ruling is an outstanding idea. ICE should detail personnel to selected embassies to conduct and facilitate the calls to make ensure that the person on the call is actually the person subject to an immigration issue. The United States needs legitimate immigrants and that would be in the best interests of America while settling the issue for the particular potential immigrants. If the decision is favorable to the applicant, paperwork can be efficiently handled in real-time at the embassy.

The theory of a legal process for properly regulating a non-citizen’s immigration to the United States for America for the purpose obtaining of citizenship should be clearly defined by the US State Department and Codified by the Congress to mitigate the partisan nonsense that has gone on and on for reasons passing all understanding.

Reform of the current Immigration process must be air tight.

Border Security must be absolute and if necessary defined in a Constitutional Amendment that removes the ability of half- assed politicians, bureaucrats and special interest groups to manipulate who may and may not enter the country and become a citizen.

Excellent points. I know of one female American citizen who married a citizen of a European country. Because of the US Immigration laws, she and her husband have chosen to remain in Europe. Had they chosen to live in the States, the husband would not be allowed to work in the States until he received a green card with work authorization, and he would have had to stay at home while the wife, the U.S. Citizen, supported the family by working. Also, on the path to US Citizenship, he would have had to remain in the States without occasional cross-border travel and not be allowed to visit his elderly parents in Europe as time would have progressed. Out Immigration Laws need to be updated and revised.

Problem: Lack of critical thinking and analysis as it relates to human beings, family and friendships that promote a healthy and well balanced society.

Reaction:

It’s either no policy which is irrational or a highly regulated policy that if properly constructed would cause special interest groups and big business a problem.

Solution:

The United States for America is successful based upon everyone understanding that we have become the destination for those who believe in meritocracy and Freedom.

You cannot have one without the other.

Creating a venue where hard working individuals can apply their education and skill sets unburdened by unelected bureaucrats creates a best in class environment for the immigration of those who will be the “ New Founders” of the Great American Experiment.

One would have to believe that the Congress has stayed too long at the party with regard to the failure of critical thought and analysis.

The nature of human beings and the critical role that family and friends play in the emotional and psychological well-being should be rooted in common sense.

Special interest groups and BIG BUSINESS LOBBYIST influence Congress and that is why The United States of America has a dysfunctional immigration policy and harms people.

Great show and I agree 100% with your discussion. By coincidence, my wife and I are in the process of leaving our Phoenix Arizona winter home this Wednesday, flying to our summer home by the sea in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It will will be interesting to hear the news about elections there, especially since Vancouver Island is traditionally an NDP(Socialist) bastion, and has mostly converted to Conservative this time around. It is after all the birthplace of Greenpeace. We discussed the political situation and we figure that people voted for the LIberals more out of FEAR OF CHANGE, than love of the Liberal agenda. When in trouble, a nation tends to keep its leaders and rally around the flag so to speak, rather than try something new. Think Churchill and FDR during the war years. Of course the liberals are pure poison, support for DEI, WOKE and clearly anti-semitic, pro-net zero warriors all, have destroyed the Canadian economy for the past 10 years with high taxes, anti-fossil fuel agenda, slow growth and high immigration. It's been an economic and cultural disaster, however due to the FEAR OF TRUMP promoted by the Liberals, they were resurrected from the grave by Trump himself. The only good thing is that the NDP (Socialist), the third largest party was demoted from 25 seats to 7, and its leader Singh stepped down. The NDP were supporting the Liberal agenda for the past 2 minority terms and could have forced a non-confidence vote many times, but never did, that's what destroyed them. The other good thing, is that historically, all minority governments in Canada never finish their 4 year term, and always fall or are forced to call an early election, just like the past 2 minority governments lead by Trudeau. I suspect that when Carney makes his first big policy mistake, and he will as he is a misguided left wing economist and not a politician, he will face a vote of non-confidence. Your views and opinions on Canada are 100% right on.

You are completly correct on Trump's idiocy with respect to the Canadian election. It was thoughtless and extremly damaging to Canada/USX relations which could take years to mend. You would have thought that Trump would want conservative governments as neigbbours and would have considered the implications before shooting his mouth off.

Careful of this aged man. He is arguably the Benedict Arnold of academia, the Julius Rosenberg of political thought. Dershowitz is primarily loyal to foreign nation and ideology. He has even admitted in an unguarded moment on the Kim Iverson podcast tha he has worked constantly for Israel since the Seventies. While he was associated for 20 years, working in tandem with Jeffrey Epstein, protecting and enabling Epstein to without interruption add to his harem of underage gentile American girls to traffic to other pedos, Dershowitz was working for Israel. We knew that. To what other country would viscerally hard core zionists send their blackmail information?. And to what other agency than Mossad? Who else could have organized he cover up of Epstein and Dershowitz activity? Dershowitz is connected to a breathtaking and comprehensive lack of morality, facilitating sexual ruination of hundreds of American gentile kids in order to secure Israel information to get Jonathan Pollard sent to Jerusalem, to get access to krytons (nuclear detonators) stored in a Pennsylvania warehouse and steal other intellectual property, to secure a pardon for Marc Rich, and to get more donated weapons from the United States. And the supreme irony? Just like the intellectual Nazi Albert Speer, Dershowitz claims he knew nothing about what was going on. Just like the Germans living outside Belsen-Belsen breathing in the pollution of cremated corpses for three years, Dershowitz had "no idea" of what Epstein was doing. So how could he be expected to report the rampant gentile child molestation to State authorities?.

Dershowitz now insists the USA go to war with Iran, Israel's long time enemy. American gentile blood not spilled by Epstein will be spilled in aerial attacks and inevitable boots on the ground for the benefit of Israeli Jewish democracy under Mr Netanyahu. There is statue of Arnold's right leg below the knee near Saratoga, presuming it survived BLM.. The statue commemorates the only part of Arnold remaining loyal to the United States. The part below the knee had been amputated before his treason. Is there any bodily part of Dershowitz remaining loyal to the country giving him great wealth, three ritzy homes and social celebrity?.

When people like Rosenberg tried in the Fifties to lead the Jewish mainstream astray from loyalty to America, Roy Cohn (later, Donald Trump's lawyer) and Judge Stanley Kaufman confronted the mainstream with the consequences of primary loyalty to a foreign power and ideology. This turned the tide. Primary loyalties to the USSR and Communism were quashed. The Jewish Community needs new Cohns and Kaufmans to make the mainstream understand and reject the hard core mutated expansionist zionism conflicting fundamentally with American national interests as well as basic human morality on treatment of gentile children..

There’s little difference in Canada between the so-called conservatives (Slightly less liberal) and the liberals. Trudeau is gone that’s a good thing, which ever of the two pinheads they pick it is probably won’t make much difference.

I am hearing from acquaintance who works for one of the “magic circle” firms and in light of the WSJ article of May 23, 2025 “Trump’s Campaign Against Elite Law Firms Suffers Another Defeat in Court”, I was hoping Dersch would address this. I have not been able to listen regularly. I do not see from episode descriptions that this was discussed. Does anyone know if a particular episode discussed the removal of security clearances for some attorney and banning from federal buildings and so on? Thanks to this group of subscribers who will likely have some additional sources. Thank you!!

On rule of law - Trump’s executive orders single out individual law firms by name, complain about the firm’s cases and association with individuals Trump regards as his enemies, and impose a series of sanctions: lifting security clearances for all their lawyers, barring federal business with them, excluding them from federal buildings (which means they can’t even go to court) and requiring federal contractors to disclose whether they have used the firm. In an order targeting WilmerHale, Trump complains that it hired Robert Mueller, the former FBI director who investigated possible Russian interference in the 2016 election. Another order, directed against the law firm Jenner & Block, targets its pro bono representation of transgender individuals and immigrants. Still another order punishes the law firm Perkins Coie for, among other things, filing suits challenging voter identification laws as impermissibly barring access to the ballot. And an executive memorandum, issued on 22 March, threatens to sanction lawyers and their firms – including in particular those at the immigration bar – who litigate against the federal government. The order directs the attorney general to review all lawsuits against the federal government over the past eight years and going forward, and to recommend to Trump sanctions against lawyers or firms involved in cases the attorney general deems frivolous.

How can retaliating against law firms and lawyers this way not interfere with the ability of lawyers to represent clients, a requisite condition for rule of law?

Will the Druze succumb to this dangerous ultimatum?

Will Israel step in to help?

And why is the mainstream media silent?

Join me as we expose the truth, amplify the voices on the ground, and bring international attention to this unfolding crisis—because someone has to.
