The whole legal system needs an overhaul to ensure this cannot ever happen again. Many safeguards against vindictive and arbitrary prosecution already exist in the ancient Common Law the USA inherited from Britain, but they rode roughshod over every protection and boundary. There must be harsh consequences for those criminals who act corruptly under color of law.
It is extraordinary that Alan Dershowitz can still imagine that these DAs, prosecutors and judges are affable and ethical people when they have shown themselves beyond all doubt to be scofflaws, criminals, and activists.

Well, I did not notice Dershowitz implying that the DAs & their ilk are ethical. There are safeguards: vote them out!
