Lawfare -- the politicization and corruption of law enforcement -- should be punished severely.

When Pres. Trump says "they're not coming for me, they're coming for you" it's not just self-serving hyperbole. Lawyers representing 2nd Amendment concerns were punished for their successful 2A defense in 2022:

The Law Firm That Got Tired of Winning

by Paul Clement and Erin Murphy

Wall Street Journal, June 23, 2022

As Clement and Murphy wrote:

"The Constitution is the foundation of American liberty, but it isn’t self-executing. It depends on lawyers who are willing to take on controversial matters and on judges who are able to hear the best possible arguments from both sides."

What was done to Trump MUST be exposed and consequences meted out. It is an attack on all of our constitutional rights, freedom, liberty. Either we ensure that those who are in a position of trust with our legal system are not only made accountable, but they must be subjected to enhanced penalties, as are any who violate their positions of trust, like elder care workers who abuse their patients, teachers who abuse their students, police who abuse their power. This happened. Was bragged about. They believed they were above the law. Now the law must show that they are not:

Anyone who twists the laws to go after a much loved candidate must be held to account. Our laws must be followed, otherwise we won’t survive.

I'd say anyone who twists the laws to go after anyone, loved or not, must be held to account. I don't care how much I hate someone, I won't support this kind of law mangling to get them.

True. Just mentioned it because the left knew Trump had a large following. They were and are trying desperately to keep him from office.

YES. Perhaps that would deter future corruption. And it’s only fair that they be treated like the rest of society if we break the law.

Thanks for your intellectual honesty. Whomever enabled Jack Smith, needs to be held accountable, and so does he. He chose to take the case. Further the Biden's ARE guilty on multipe fronts; and they need prosecuting; the gun charge is a nothing burger.... however hookers, drugs, etc are.... he is seen with a diff pistola in one of his vids; there's all fhe money laundering.... c'mon Allen. The classified docs.... HRC had them, Biden, Pence, etc.... arrest them.

There's "revenge" and there's "justice", too different things. I see no problem for seeking justice when it comes to people who make up crimes specifically fabricated to take down a political adversary. That should never be, it perverts the course of justice and tarnishes America's good standing in the world as a country of laws and fairness. Thank you for sticking to legal issues. Bravo! Great job and good show.

My only quibble is with your take on Smith. 5 USC PART II, CHAPTER 12, SUBCHAPTER II: OFFICE OF SPECIAL COUNSEL §1211. (b) states: The Special Counsel shall be appointed by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, for a term of 5 years.

Why would this not apply to Smith? He was never confirmed by the Senate, or did I miss something? And yes, I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express!

Should Alan Dershowitz be held to account for

1) protection and enablement of Jeffrey Epstein's projects well beyond an attorney relationship including fundraising for said projects;

2)improper influencing, intimidating, inducing and pressuring of Federal DA Acosta to grant Epstein, charged with over 100 child rapes, a sweetheart plea deal of only weekends in jail for 18 months;

3) arranging said plea deal that gave Jeffrey Epstein 10 more years of freedom for continuation of his pedophilic child rape.

4) evading indictment of himself as in no. 2) above, for multiple counts/allegations of serial underage child rape, trafficking children interstate for sexual purposes and failing to alert authorities of child abuse at any time during Dershowitz's 20 year long friendship/relationship with Epstein.

5) misrepresenting payment of hush money on the order of at least one million dollars as being an "exoneration" from allegations of pedophilic child non-consensual rape;

6) a litigious pattern of obstruction of production of evidence/ justice including a pattern of maliciously filing intrusively intimidating defamation lawsuits against any child victim accusing Dershowitz AND against any attorney representing the child victims;

7) focusing on getting himself a secret non-prosecution deal covering any and all of his activities connected with Epstein and Epstein's pedophilia project. The Florida Bar was critical of the deal, determining it to be unethical and illegal. A Federal Court agreed and invalidated it. Yet the very secrecy infringed on the child victims rights for at least three years. and

8) breach of legal ethics by publicly describing 13 and 14 year old child accusers as being "prostitites, liars and thieves" and pressing States Attorney Brischer to prosecute (he lost) at least two of the child accusers.

I agree. What happened in 2022-2024 should be deterred from ever happening again in our government. Personally accountability is required of every participant involved in creating possible crimes that a former President of the USA has never had to face, to Judges and Prosecutors, and agency lawyers WH counsel, all should face the responsibility for their actions, including collusion (made public on the docket of Judge Cannon. And yes, Merrick Garland.

Consider the FBI, inciting J6, and the thousands of people who are paying the price for them. Matthew Graves, prosecuting misdemeanors, and stalling pleas trials, and judgment. All for protesting for 3 hours, an American right when citizens have grievances.

The WH Counsel, AG, and NARA attorney colluded to create the first “crime” - the raid on The President’s home, This has never happened here. We cannot let it happen again. It’s lawlessness at the top.
